One of the 5-star reviews: “Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Good breakfast on offer with plenty of choice. Very pleasant staff - Reception, Restaurant and Housekeeping. Good sized bedroom with microwave, fridge and sink. Comfortable beds. Great location for visiting the University of Notre Dame. Within walking distance of Eddie Street where there are many dining options - particularly O'Rourkes Irish pub with great food, drink and atmosphere.” Source: Booking.com
Lowest rating review: “Old and dirty. TVs at least 15 years old would not show full screen picture. The aspect ratio was so small it’s like have a 18-inch tv on wall. Dirty floors and bed was north me. The bathroom was disgusting. Paid $500 a night and clearly got robbed. The upcharge due to football game weekend but on regular night. It much more than $19 for this dump.” Source: Booking.com

Bad review: “Absolutely horrific. Service was terrible, waited at the front desk for 25 mins for a clerk. The pool was out of order, even though I had called an hour prior checking on the pool specifically asking about pool availability and hours, I was never told otherwise. Had to call to get a remote for the tv as one isn't provided in the room. The toilet didn't work.” Source: Google.com

Bathroom floor had water all over it (we hadn't done it), so my partner slipped & fell, requiring emergency room treatment, including stitches. Fire alarm went off 2x in the middle of the night. Good review: Breakfast was delicious. Full breakfast for sure. Surprise benefit was complimentary shuttle service to Notre Dane. With limited parking at ND, the service was a lifesaver.” Source: Booking.com
Bad review: “I can’t in good conscience recommend this hotel. Not only do they price gauge on game day weekends and I mean almost four times their normal rates they put in a ridiculous 60 day cancellation notice. When I did call to cancel my reservation because of a family matter they didn’t even get back to me for a week because the manager was supposedly on vacation. I completely understand raising rates on big weekends but four times the amount is uncalled for. So no I would not recommend this hotel.” Source: Google.com
